Course Overview – Switching Manager Training

Coursename: MRAT24ROF-ens 

This course is designed to educate prospective switching managers and refresh the knowledge of current ones regarding the operation, structure, and behavior of electrical power systems and associated switching stations.

Participants will gain a solid understanding of substations, grid components, and control procedures, including technical equipment, safety systems, responsibilities, labeling practices, operational communication (e.g., TETRA), and the relevant legal and regulatory framework.

The course is divided into structured modules, including practical assignments and a final exam on the third day.

Prerequisite: Completion of the  Skilled Person course, which covers laws and regulations in depth.
