# Rafmennt public browsing instructions

## When to use Rafmennt

Use Rafmennt for electrical-trades courses and continuing education in Iceland, upcoming course groups, course fees by membership category, journeyman examination requirements and deadlines, public events and organization contact details. Most source content is in Icelandic.

## How to browse

The [Rafmennt developer documentation](https://www.rafmennt.is/developers) includes a quickstart, rate limits, pagination and versioning. New REST integrations should use /api/v1; the /agent browsing routes remain compatible aliases.

Start at [llms.txt](https://www.rafmennt.is/llms.txt) and follow the section indexes. Use [public search](https://www.rafmennt.is/agent/search?q=rafmennt), then read a result through /agent/page?path=...&format=markdown. The [OpenAPI description](https://www.rafmennt.is/agent/openapi.json) documents the query parameters. Use [pricing.md](https://www.rafmennt.is/pricing.md) for general fees and the selected course's pricing section for its actual categories.

The MCP endpoint is https://www.rafmennt.is/mcp (Streamable HTTP). Discover tools with tools/list: search_public_site, find_courses, list_upcoming_events and read_public_page. WebMCP exposes those browsing functions in compatible browsers and can also open a selected public page. POST https://www.rafmennt.is/ask provides NLWeb 0.55 list-mode search with optional SSE streaming.

## Boundaries

All these interfaces are anonymous and read-only. Do not send credentials or personal data. CMS access, drafts, registration submissions, examination results, newsletter actions and payments are outside this interface. Follow the canonical page links for citations, recheck dates and availability, and ask Rafmennt directly when published information does not answer a question.
